TBS Shops for 10 Items

“Loosely scripted” comedy series 10 Items or Less will kick off TBS’ late-night originals block Mondays at 11 p.m. (EST/PST) following its Nov. 27 debut.
The series -- “starring John Lehr as a less-than-successful businessman from New York City who moves back home to take over the family supermarket after the death of his father” -- will follow Family Guy.
TBS also announced that it has completed shooting a pilot forThe Late Night Buffet with Augie and Del, an “irreverent talk show” from The Jim Henson Co.
Other fare in the mix for TBS’ late-night block: a sketch-comedy project from MadTV’sFrank Caliendo based on his impersonations;Off the Road with Andrew Daly, featuring sketch comedian Daly traveling the country; What News?, a comedy about a local newscast; and a new sketch-comedy series from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart associate producer and Man Bites Dog executive producerJenny Hunter.
