CBS News Taps Brightcove for Web Distribution

Ad-Supported Video Content to Hit the Internet

CBS News enlisted the aid of Internet-television provider Brightcove to syndicate ad-supported video content across the Web.

Web sites interested in carrying CBS News will be able to visit its Web site or the Brightcove Syndication Marketplace and apply to become an affiliate.

Currently, CBS News content gets nonlinear distribution via Comcast and YouTube.
