Reality Cooking Show Records Highest Premiere Ratings in Five Seasons

Bravo’s Top Chef: New York attracted nearly 2.7 million viewers in its season premiere Wednesday night, up 19% from last season’s debut episode.
The Emmy and James Beard award-winning series which pits chefs against one another in a series of cooking competitions lured more than 1.87 million adults Wednesday night, up 27% from the 1.475 million adults 18-49 who tuned into the season four premiere.
Online, BravoTV.com saw triple-digit gains with the Top Chef: New York site generating a 105% increase in page views (1.1 million vs. 527,000) compared to the Top Chef: Chicago premiere in March.
Also, Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta pulled almost 1.5 million viewers, up 49% from the 1 million viewers who watched last week’s episode. The series’ Web site has also served up nearly 1.5 million view streams since its launch.
