INHD Goes to the Red Carpet with E!

In Demand’s INHD will accompany E! Entertainment Television to the red carpet.
The HD network will air E!'s live coverage of the red-carpet happenings from the 2005 Academy Awards, the SAG Awards and the Grammy Awards, In Demand said.
Aired in standard-definition on E! and in HD on INHD, the SAG Awards Saturday, Feb. 5, and the Grammys Sunday, Feb. 13, will feature three hours of preshow coverage including the two-hour Live from the Red Carpet hosted by Star Jones Reynolds.
For the 77th Annual Academy Awards, coverage balloons to 10 hours, with Live Countdown: The Academy Awards from noon-6 p.m. (EST), Live from the Red Carpet from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and the Live Post Show from 11 p.m.-1 a.m.
“E! first presented our live red-carpet coverage in HD during the 2004 Oscars, which was very well-received by HD viewers," E! Networks senior vice president of affiliate relations Brad Fox said in a prepared statement.
“We're pleased to be working once again with INHD to expand our HD coverage to include all of the year's major red-carpet events, delivering all of the excitement surrounding award-show season to our affiliates and INHD viewers,” he added.
“No one captures the excitement of the red carpet like E!, and there is no better way to experience it than with the stunning images and sound of high-definition on INHD," In Demand Networks VP of business development Jason Patton said in a prepared statement.
“INHD is committed to becoming the ultimate destination for high-definition programming, and we're thrilled to be expanding our partnership with E!,” Patton added.
