‘Starz! Ticket on Real Movies’ Doubles Up

Starz Entertainment Group LLC and RealNetworks Inc. launched the next generation of their PC-based movie-subscription service Monday.

The companies said “Starz! Ticket on Real Movies” now has 300 movies available anytime, doubling its previous total. The service also added newly enhanced features.

Starz! Ticket on Real Movies, which costs $12.99 per month, now features the ability to preview and search movies, movie recommendations and an expanded list of movie categories.

“Today's digital consumers are looking for convenience, simplicity and value," RNI vice president of video services Karim Meghji said in a prepared statement. “Starz! Ticket on Real Movies gives customers around-the-clock access to the most popular movies and provides travelers the ability to play back movies at convenient times via their laptop.”
