Vogel Joins EchoStar’s Board

Former Charter Communications Inc. CEO Carl Vogel has been added to EchoStar Communications Corp.’s board of directors, Reuters reported.

Vogel had been EchoStar’s president and chief operating officer from 1994-97.

Another former EchoStar president and COO -- Tom Ortolf, who held those posts from 1988-91 -- also joined the company’s board, according to Reuters.
