Daniels Fund Names New CEO

Linda Childears has joined the Daniels Fund as president and CEO.

Childears had been CEO of the Young Americans Bank and Young Americans Center for Financial Education.

The Daniels Fund was established in 1997 by cable pioneer Bill Daniels.

Childears has been a member of the Daniels Fund board since it was created in 2000, serving as vice chairman, member of the investment committee and chairman of the grants and scholarship committee. She will assume the president and CEO posts Aug. 1.
