Digeo Inc.’s “Moxi Media Center” and Integra5 Communications Inc.’s “UniTV” converged-services platform are now compatible.
The two vendors said Wednesday that interoperability work with the two products has been completed.
Cable operators with circuit-switched or hybrid voice networks will now be able to offer advanced telephony and messaging services to Moxi Media Center customers, easing the transition to Internet-protocol-based voice networks.
“Now, operators can provide Moxi Telephone over both [voice-over-IP] and traditional voice networks, allowing them to offer attractive bundling packages and potentially increase average revenue per user,” Digeo senior vice president of sales and marketing Bert Kolde said in a prepared statement.
