WE Goes Mobile to Plug Style Me

WE: Women’s Entertainment said Wednesday that it is launching its first-ever mobile marketing campaign.
The network will plug its Jan. 23 premiere of Style Me with Rachel Hunter with help from ipsh! mobile marketing.
WE viewers can log on to the network’s Web site (www.we.tv) and enter their mobile number, as well as a friend’s number. Once entered, they will receive a confirmation text message and, beginning Jan. 23, weekly personal recorded messages from Hunter with exclusive style tips will be sent straight to their mobile phones. The campaign runs through March 1.
“WE is always seeking out nontraditional marketing initiatives that allow us to speak to our core audience of women beyond our linear network,” vice president of consumer marketing Jennifer Robertson said in a prepared statement. “This mobile platform is an exciting initiative for WE, and Style Me reinforces our dedication to original programming.”
