YES, MLB to Relaunch Site

New York — New York— The Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network and MLB Advanced Media have entered into a multiyear partnership by which MLBAM will design, produce, maintain and relaunch an all-new Web site for the regional sports service. As part of the agreement, the revamped YESNetwork.com, which is expected to bow in May, will offer video highlights of Yankees games.
“Our Web site will use the latest technology to deliver much broader and deeper content, topped off with timely video highlights,” said Tracy Dolgin, YES president and CEO in a statement.
The site will also include Yankees and New Jersey Nets scores, news, analysis and player bios, plus podcasts, blogs and message boards. The YES Vision application will feature exclusive video of Yanks and Nets interviews, as well as other network programming.
Last month, SportsNet New York, the new TV home of the cross-town New York Mets, announced a multiyear partnership with MLBAM that will also enable SNY.tv to air video highlights.
