Volantis to Help Take WWE Mobile

Volantis Systems Ltd. is getting into the mobile ring with World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.

The two companies are teaming up to launch a new global WWE mobile portal, supported by Volantis' “Mobile Content Framework” and “Storefront” solutions.

WWE said it will launch original mobile-specific content later this spring, including programs and services that feature dedicated, exclusive video content and other one-of-a-kind material.

The wrestling organization introduced text-messaging subscription service “WWE Mobile Alert” in March.
