Comcast Corp. signed General Motors Corp. to advertise in episodes of CBS’ Survivor Finale and Survivor Reunion, which will now be available free-of-charge to video-on-demand subscribers in Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia.
Those episodes had been available for 99 cents.
GM will run three ads at the beginning, middle and end of the program. The spots direct viewers to the “GM Showroom” section of Comcast’s long-form advertising section. Viewers can find more information about GM cars under Comcast’s “Searchlight/Automotive” section.
The programs will run on Comcast’s VOD service May 15-Aug. 31.
