Time Warner Extends EarthLink Pact
By Steve Donohue -- Multichannel News, 7/6/2006 12:08:00 PM
Time Warner Cable cut a deal with EarthLink that will allow the Internet-service provider to continue reselling high-speed-Internet access to Time Warner subscribers and to some homes passed by Adelphia Communications once that deal closes.
Time Warner originally agreed in November 2000 to open its pipe to EarthLink and other ISPs as a condition of its merger with America Online.
The MSO passes approximately 19 million homes.
Specific terms of the pact were not disclosed.
