HGTV to Launch Web-Video Series

By Christian Lewis -- Multichannel News, 10/10/2006 12:54:00 PM

HGTV KitchenDesign (design.hgtv.com/kitchen) announced that it will launch two Web-video series devoted to the kitchen: 8 Fresh Ideas for Kitchen Backsplashes and Getting Started: 10 Steps to a New Kitchen.

Backsplashes Webisodes will feature ideas from celebrity designer Scott Sicari, who uses materials such as broken china, magnetic laminate, silverware and shells. The show launched on HGTV KitchenDesign in January.

In Getting Started, host Lise Simms offers a beginner's guide to kitchen remodeling. Each Webisode concentrates on one of the 10 steps, such as planning your budget or creating an efficient layout.

Both series will begin the week of Oct. 16.
