The Big Ten Network will launch in August, and the Big Ten Conference and Fox Cable Networks officially announced its name and debuted its logo Thursday.
The logo is being displayed on the conference’s Web site (bigten.cstv.com).
The full-time network is the result of a 20-year broadcast partnership between the two parties. The service will be majority-owned by the conference, with Fox holding a minority interest.
DirecTV will add the Big Ten Network to its Total Choice Package when it launches.
