Comedy to Debut Broadband Pair

Comedy Central will add Baxter & McGuire and Good God to its broadband lineup (www.comedycentral.com).

Baxter & McGuire was written and created by Michael J. Weithorn, creator of The King of Queens, and writer/actor/dancer Nick Bakay. Comedy Central described it as “an animated buddy-comedy that chronicles the adventures of Baxter and McGuire, the closest of pals who never leave each other's side. They also just happen to be testicles.” It will run for eight weeks starting Nov. 6.

And Good God is a live action comedy revolving around God's workplace environment. It debuts Oct. 26.

Comedy Central’s broadband channel launched last Nov. 1.
