Cox Enterprises expanded the Atlanta-centric Kudzu.com (www.kudzu.com) search engine to three other markets where Cox Communications operates cable systems: San Diego, Las Vegas and Arizona.
The service, operated by Cox subsidiary Cox Search, works with the Cox cable unit and Cox Media ad-sales division in each market for sales support and cross-promotions.
Since launching in Atlanta in May 2005, the search engine has measured more than 1.7 million unique visitors and lists 135,000 Atlanta-area service businesses in 146 categories. It’s a consumer-focused site aimed at connecting ready-to-buy individuals with local service professionals.
