NATPE Picks Legacy Awards Winners

USA Network president Bonnie Hammer is among the winners of the National Association of Television Programming Executives Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards, the group said Tuesday.

Additional Legacy Awards winners include Cannell Studios chairman Stephen Cannell and Wheel of Fortune producer Harry Friedman.

The awards will be handed out during at the NATPE conference in January in Las Vegas. The awards, named in honor of late NBC executive Tartikoff, were “created to recognize a select group of television professionals who exhibit extraordinary passion, leadership, independence and vision,” NATPE said.

Legacy Awards sponsors include Multichannel News, Broadcasting & Cable and NBC Universal.
