Season 19 of Real World Heading to Sydney

MTV and Bunim-Murray Productions are gearing up for the 19th season of The Real World.
The 24-episode series will begin production in Sydney, Australia, during the first quarter of 2007 with an expected debut during the fourth quarter.
The music-television network reported that the 18th season -- The Real World: Denver -- reached 74 million total viewers and was the most-watched in its time period among person 12-24 across all of television.
“The MTV team will be in Sydney for several months, employing dozens of local crews and showcasing our city to a huge U.S. audience,” said Linda Tizard, acting chief executive of the New South Wales Film and Television Office. “The New South Wales Film and Television Office has assisted with locations and other logistical advice, and we're thrilled that they've chosen Sydney as the first The Real World location in the southern hemisphere.”
