IFC Bringing Drama/Mex to VOD, Theaters

Spanish-language drama Drama/Mex will simultaneously premiere theatrically and on cable’s video-on-demand platform following a deal for the film’s North American rights between IFC Entertainment and Canana Films.

Drama/Mex was written and directed by Gerardo Naranjo (Malachance, Perro Negro) and stars Fernando Becerril (The Legend of Zorro), Juan Pablo Castaneda, Diana Garcia, Miriana Moro and Emilio Valdés, The Independent Film Channel said.

"Drama/Mex is a beautifully told story explored with fresh and provocative style,” IFC Entertainment president Jonathan Sehring said in a prepared statement. “It represents the true independent spirit of filmmaking and fits beautifully into the In Theatres slate.”
