SOAPnet reached an agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution to acquire the rights to all four seasons of The O.C. and all four seasons of One Tree Hill.
The O.C. currently airs on Fox and One Tree Hill airs on The CW.
SOAPnet said it will begin airing the series Monday-Friday April 9, with One Tree Hill airing at 5 p.m. and The O.C. following at 6 p.m.
“The O.C. and One Tree Hill will resonate with our viewers and live perfectly alongside the top-five-rated daytime soaps and our other acquired primetime dramas,” SOAPnet general manager Deborah Blackwell said in a prepared statement.
Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution president Eric Frankel added, “These shows are a perfect fit for SOAPnet, and we look forward to their premiere -- and ratings success -- in April.”
