Verizon Expands FiOS TV in N.J.

Telco Eyes More than 200 Garden State Communities by Year-End

Verizon Communications launched its FiOS TV service in 62 more New Jersey communities.

FiOS TV is now available in 168 communities in the state, and Verizon is planning on increasing that total past 200 by year-end.

In other Verizon news, the company’s board of directors authorized the repurchase up to 100 million shares of its common stock.

Approximately 2.9 billion shares of Verizon common stock are outstanding.
