Multiband Closes Consolidated Deal

Service Provider to MDUs Sells 7K California Subscribers to Ancillary-Services Provider

Multiband closed its deal to sell more than 7,000 California-based video subscribers to Consolidated Smart Broadband Systems, announced in October.

Multiband has received approximately $1.6 million to date, and it is eligible to receive additional proceeds through February 2008.

Multiband will continue to provide customer-support, billing, collection, voice, and data services to the customers involved, while Consolidated will assume field-support, marketing and installation activities.

Multiband, formerly Vicom, provides voice, data and video systems and services to multiple-dwelling units including apartment buildings and time-share resorts. Consolidated is an ancillary-services provider.
