Yahoo Movies to Attend 2007 MTV Movie Awards

Cable Network, Internet Destination Team Up on Best Movie Spoof User-Generated Category

MTV officially invited Yahoo Movies to the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.

The programmer and the Internet destination teamed up on MTV Movie Awards on Yahoo, set to launch April 23, through which aspiring filmmakers can submit their own original movie shorts parodying films from the past year for consideration in the first ever Best Movie Spoof user-generated category.

The winner will be revealed during the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, set to air live from the Gibson Theater in Universal City, Calif., June 3.
