Among the new features in Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Elite, set to hit stores April 29, is an HD-multimedia-interface port.
The HDMI port and HD cable will allow the video-game console to receive HD video up to 1080p (progressive) quality, as well as surround sound, Microsoft said.
The Xbox 360 Elite also boasts a 120-gigabyte hard drive, enabling the download of HD movies and TV shows from the company’s Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
