TV Guide Recruits CBS Executive
Megan Costello Named Vice President of Research

TV Guide Channel appointed veteran TV researcher Megan Costello as vice president of research.
Costello, who most recently served as VP of research for CBS Television Distribution, will oversee all of TV Guide Channel’s research initiatives, which include primary research, ratings and market analyses, as well as viewer testing for the network’s original programming.
Costello, based in the network’s Hollywood headquarters, will report to Doug Yates, TV Guide Channel’s senior VP of marketing.
Costello joins TV Guide Channel with more than 15 years experience in entertainment research. During her tenure at CBS Television Distribution, she managed staff responsible for syndication, network and international research. Previously, Costello served as UPN’s executive director of research, where she provided strategic market insights across all key functions of the network.
Earlier in her career, Costello served as a media-research supervisor at McCann-Erickson, the ad agency. She also served in research positions for Fox Broadcasting and Paramount Pictures.
