AT&T, Verizon Lead Rankings of High-Speed-Data Services to Businesses

AT&T and Verizon Communications dominated Comcast, Time Warner Cable and other rivals in a J.D. Power survey on the level of satisfaction business customers have with high-speed-data services.
Verizon was the top-ranked company in the small/midsized business category, earning 707 points based on a 1,000-point scale, while AT&T was ranked No. 1 in the large enterprise business category, scoring 737 points.
Verizon was ranked second by large enterprise businesses, with 735 points, followed by Comcast (718), Qwest Communications International (714) and Time Warner (709).
Cox Communications placed second in the small/midsized business category, followed by Time Warner (683), AT&T (671), Qwest (670) and Comcast (637).
In its study of commercial high-speed-data services from telephone companies and cable service providers that market cable-modem, digital-subscriber-line, T-1 and T-3 lines, J.D. Power placed businesses with 2-499 employees in the small/midsized category. Companies with 500 or more employees were considered large enterprise business.
