Comcast to Open Customer-Support Center in Del.

Cable Operator’s Eastern Division to Hire 800 Employees

Comcast said it will open a new 800-seat, state-of-the-art customer-support center in Newark, Del.

The MSO’s Eastern division added that it will hire an additional 800 employees in the state over the next 12 months, bringing its Delaware total to 2,300.

The 115,000-square-foot Newark facility will join four existing local call centers in the Philadelphia metro region.

Comcast opened a 56,000-square-foot facility in Colorado Springs earlier this month.
