Broadcom Wraps Octalica Deal

Broadcom completed its acquisition of Octalica, announced earlier this month.
Newton Centre, Mass.-based Octalica is a startup developing chips for home-networking technologies based on the Multimedia Over Coax Alliance (MoCA) standard.
Broadcom paid approximately $31 million in cash in exchange for all of the outstanding shares of Octalica's capital stock and other rights of Octalica.
