Cable Network Acquires Former CBS Series from NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution

Hallmark Channel acquired Murder, She Wrote,which will bow on the network June 3.

The who-done-it will premiere on Hallmark at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. in its traditional CBS time slot. The series will also air daily Monday-Friday starting June 4, from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. and 11 p.m.-1 a.m. and every Sunday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The series -- which was acquired from NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution -- stars 12-time Emmy Award-nominee and Golden Globe Award winner Angela Lansbury as mystery writer turned supersleuth Jessica Fletcher. It was television’s highest-rated drama for an unbelievable nine consecutive seasons.
