CableLabs Issues PacketCable 2.0 RFI

Cable Industry’s Research-and-Development Arm Seeks Information on Product Road Maps, IMS-Based Applications

Cable Television Laboratories issued a request for information to solicit responses from vendors regarding their PacketCable 2.0 product road maps.

The cable industry’s research-and-development arm said the RFI is also seeking information regarding any information-management-system-based applications suppliers are developing for the cable industry.

The PacketCable 2.0 RFI and the product-information-tables matrix referenced in the RFI are available on the CableLabs Web site. The deadline for responses to be delivered to CableLabs is July 13.
