NBC U Crime-and-Mystery Channel to Offer Free-VOD Content

NBC Universal’s crime-and-mystery channel,

Sleuth

, is placing episodes of Miami Vice, Rockford Files and Dick Wolf series Conviction on free-on-demand cable offerings from various operators. On June 21, the Sleuth VOD fare will debut on Advanced Cable Communications, Buckeye CableSystem, Choice Cable, Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico, Mediacom Communications and Vista III Media cable systems, NBC U said. Sleuth On Demand will also offer five movies at any time, starting with Double Indemnity and Tank, the programmer said.
