The Weather Channel Inks Exclusive Pact with MSNBC.com

Cable Networks’ Web Sites Team Up on Weather Content

The Weather Channel and MSNBC.com announced an expanded agreement Monday under which weather.com will be the exclusive weather provider for MSNBC.com’s weather section.

MSNBC.com's redesigned weather section provides customizable current conditions, 36-hour forecasts and regional and national weather maps provided by TWC. The section also links back to hourly and extended forecasts and other content on Weather.com. And MSNBC.com will link to news stories and videos on Forecast Earth, TWC’s climate-focused subsite.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
