SCTE Announces 2007-08 Board Officers

New Slate Revealed at Cable-Tec Expo 2007

Orlando, Fla. -- The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers announced the election of its board officers, who will serve during the 2007-08 term.

The association made the announcement at its Cable-Tec Expo 2007 here.

The board members are:

• Chair: Tom Gorman, Charter Communications, director-at-large;

• Western vice chair: Frank Eichenlaub, Cisco’s Scientific Atlanta, region 2 director;

• Eastern vice chair: Steven C. Johnson, Time Warner Cable, region 10 director;

• Secretary: Vicki Marts, Cox Communications, region 5 director;

• Treasurer: Greg Allshouse, Comcast, region 11 director; and

• Additional executive-committee member: Bob Macioch, Time Warner, region 4 director.

Other members of the 2007-’08 SCTE board of directors are:

• Region 1 director: Bob Weaver, Cox;

• Region 3 director: Keith Grunberg, Charter;

• Region 6 director: Alex Balander, Charter;

• Region 7 director: Marc Broadnax, Comcast;

• Region 8 director: Tommy Hill, Mediacom Communications;

• Region 9 director: Ken Williams, Cox;

• Region 12 director: Deane Olmsted, Times Fiber Communications; and

• Directors-at-large: Walt Ciciora, Technology Consultants; Yvette Gordon-Kanouff, SeaChange International; Patrick O’Hare, Comcast; and Dermot O’Carroll, Rogers Cable.
