CMT Promotion for Moreau

Cable Network Names Vice President of Development

CMT promoted Melanie Moreau to vice president, development.

Moreau, who operates out of the company’s Los Angeles office, is responsible for the creation, development and production of original entertainment on CMT. Some of her work includes Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, Trick My Truck and The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search.

“Melanie’s innovative programming approach has been integral to the growth of CMT’s development slate,” said Bob Kusbit, head of development at CMT, in a prepared statement. “She is a proven hit-maker and we’re excited to see what new ideas she brings to our expanding slate.”

Moreau has nearly 20 years of experience in television and previously worked with Greystone Television, A&E Network, E! Entertainment Television and Fox before joining CMT in 2003.
