USA Network didn’t just put in a call for any doctor to help its ratings: It called Dr. Steve-O, dialing up the show for seven episodes.
Steve-O (Steven Glover), previous star of hit MTV show Jackass, will star in the reality show, which debuts Oct. 1. The new show will run at 11 p.m. (EST) following WWE’s Monday Night Raw, the highest-rated weekly series on cable.
The show will follow Steve-O as he visits wimps, nerds and couch potatoes who have been nominated by someone they know. Dr. Steve-O will then proceed to perform stunts and dares to give his patients a dose of his daredevil medicine.
