HDTV Simulcast of TBS’ East Coast Feed to Include MLB Postseason Games

TBS in HD, an HDTV simulcast of TBS’ East Coast feed, will launch Sunday, Sept. 1.
The new HD feed will feature fare including TBS original seriesMy Boys andThe Bill Engvall Show, which are being shot in HD; first-run series like Tyler Perry’sHouse of Payne; sitcoms including Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Sex and the City; and comedy specials such as World’s Funniest Commercials.
“With the launch of TBS in HD, we will bring an outstanding lineup of comedy programming to our viewers in a video format that is on the fast track to becoming the industry and consumer standard,” Turner Entertainment Networks president Steve Koonin said in a prepared statement.
