Beginning this upcoming season, the Phoenix Suns will become the first National Basketball Association team to broadcast all of their games in HD.
The announcement came from Suns president and chief operating officer Rick Welts Friday, on the heels of another successful first-place season.
“Today’s announcement represents a cooperative effort between our partners, KUTP My45 and FSN Arizona, and demonstrates each organization’s commitment to providing the best television experience for Suns fans,” Welts said in a prepared statement. “With our current sellout streak of 71 consecutive games and season tickets for the Suns 2007-08 season already sold out, it was important that we do everything possible to make every telecast next season a special event. Watching NBA basketball in HD is breathtaking, and our viewers will have that experience every game.”
Suns HD games will be broadcast on FSN Arizona, KUTP My45 and KTTU MyTuscon.

I thought the New Jersey Nets were going to have all their games in HD on the YES Network starting this season.
