Anime Network secured full-time carriage with a pair of distributors in the “Sunflower State.”
Anime landed on Eagle Communications for the first time and expanded what had been video-on-demand positioning on Sunflower Broadband into 24/7 coverage in Kansas.
Network officials said the Anime will soon be available in a trio of new markets -- Lawrence, Hays and Minneapolis, Kan. -- just in time for the new semester to begin at universities.
“Anime Network is extremely popular among the 16- to 34-year-old demographic, and we are thrilled to launch our 24/7 linear service to both loyal fans and new audiences served by Sunflower Broadband and Eagle Communications,” said Kevin McFeeley, the network’s vice president of affiliate sales and new media, in a prepared statement.
