Comcast Launches Penn State On Demand

Cable Operator Delivers Free-VOD Content to 2.4M Pa. Subscribers

Comcast put on its Nittany Lions jersey and enrolled at Penn State University Wednesday.

The MSO announced the launch of Penn State On Demand to 2.4 million subscribers throughout Pennsylvania.

The free-video-on-demand service will feature hundreds of hours of interviews, instructional and educational videos, documentaries and archival material,

“Viewers will find content that has never before been made available through television and will be able to share in our state's and society's history,” Penn State vice president for outreach Craig D. Weidemann said in a prepared statement.
