Starz to Sponsor 34 th Annual Telluride Film Festival
Cable Programmer to Air Special Reports from Event

Starz Entertainment will be the top sponsor at this year’s Telluride Film Festival, which runs from Aug. 31-Sept. 3.
“The Telluride Film Festival is one of the top few film festivals in the world that we have supported for more than a decade, and we are pleased to continue our sponsorship at a higher level for the next two years,” said Stephan Shelanski, senior vice president of programming at Starz.
Throughout the four-day festival, the network will once again sponsor the Palm Theater, the largest of eight venues showing more than 40 films this year.
In addition, Starz will film festival events, including interviews with stars, and will air special reports from the festival grounds on the Starz channels.
Founded in 1974, the Telluride Film Festival is entering its 34th year.
