Soccer and Rugby Programmer Available for $14.99 Monthly to Dish Network Subscribers

Soccer and rugby proponent Setanta Sports North America inked its second major carriage deal in the United States, gaining distribution on EchoStar’s Dish Network.
Highlighting action from the Barclay’s English Premiere League and the UEFA Champions League, as well as the 2007 Rugby World Cup and the annual Six Nations tournament, Setanta is now available to Dish and business customers at $14.99 and $100 per month, respectively.
Setanta -- which will be offered free-of-charge in Dish’s Preview Showroom on channel 284 through Sept. 5 -- also has distribution pacts with DirecTV, Globecast World TV and ITVN.
