TV One Thursday boosted its senior programming staff with the appointment of several promotions and new hires, according to executive vice president of programming and production Rose Catherine Pinkney.
The network named former network programming consultant Jeff Meier as its senior VP of programming strategy and acquisitions, overseeing TV One programming strategy, as well as its new business opportunities.
Veteran MTV Networks production executive Toni Judkins joined TV One as VP of programming and production, overseeing all current programming and production duties, according to Pinkney.
Kinyette Newman has been promoted from TV One director of product management to VP of production management, responsible for all of the financial and operational aspects of TV One’s original productions.
Former BET director of development Endyia Kinney-Sterns joined TV One as senior director of programming and production and is charged with the oversight of programming produced out of Los Angeles.
“Our mission is to bring quality television to African-American adults and, with this dynamic team in place, I’m confident that the strong base we’ve built will grow exponentially stronger,” Pinkney said in a prepared statement.
