Lifetime Recruits CBS Reality Programmer
Sandy Varo Named VP of Reality Programming

Lifetime Television named former CBS executive Sandy Varo vice president of reality programming.
Varo, who was director of alternative series at CBS, worked on several top reality shows, including Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Rock Star: INXS and Rock Star: Supernova.
She also worked previously as producer on FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen and story producer on CBS’ “Big Brother 5.”
Prior to that, Varo held a variety of producing positions, including supervising producer and senior producer at Film Garden Entertainment, working on various reality series for Discovery Health and TLC. Additional credits include serving as producer on MSNBC’s “Headliners & Legends” as well as reality series and specials at E! and WE.
