Media-technology consulting firm Brisbane Digital Consulting Group, San Francisco, has named Elizabeth Botes as president. She comes from Terayon Communication Systems, where she was responsible for global distribution strategies and distribution-channel development.
Discovery
Clara Kim has joined Discovery Communications as executive vice president, business affairs. She had been senior vice president, general counsel of MTV Networks Entertainment Group’s online businesses and Spike TV.
ESPN
ESPN has elevated Rosalyn Durant and Julie Sobieski to vice president, programming acquisition. Durant, who is responsible for the network’s relationships with the National Basketball Association, Major League Lacrosse, Major League Soccer, FIFA, UEFA, U.S. Soccer and Olympic sports; and Sobieski, who is responsible for ESPN’s business relationship with motor sports properties; had been both been director, programming and acquisitions.
Lifetime
Sandy Varo was named vice president, reality programming at Lifetime Television. She had been director, alternative series at CBS.
Mosaic
Cable industry marketing and public relations Mosaic Marketing in Peoria, Ill., has hired Diana Bes as marketing manager. She was associate director and Webmaster for the Catholic Diocese of Peoria.
MSG Media
Madison Square Garden Media named Chris Monteleone vice president, distribution marketing, MSG Interactive, a new post. He was director, digital development and sales at Rainbow Media.
MTV Networks
Greg Clayman was elevated to executive vice president, digital distribution and business development at MTV Networks. He had been senior VP, MTVN Mobile Media.
Also, Reginald Williams was elevated to senior vice president, music strategy. He had been VP of the MTVN Music Strategy team.

Mun2 has named Sara Kantathavorn as the network’s Los Angeles-based director, talent and artist relations. She had worked for Platform Public Relations as a freelance senior publicist.

Ross Martin was elevated to senior vice president, programming at mtvU. He was head of programming.
Also, Chris McCarthy was elevated to vice president, marketing. He had been head of marketing.
Finally, Andrew Federici was named vice president, online properties. He comes from InterActiveCorp, where he was director of proprietary portals, IAC Consumer Applications and Portals.

Ian Wallin was named vice president, national sales at Gemstar-TV Guide International’s TV Guide Online. He comes from Microsoft, where he was national director, sports, responsible for sports ad sales and sales strategy.

Helen C. Karras has joined Ion Media Networks as senior vice president, network sales. She comes from AMC Networks, where she was senior VP, advertising sales.

Robert Ellis has joined ReelzChannel as director, talent relations. He was a senior producer at AOL Entertainment.

Jody Jones has joined Scripps Networks Interactive as senior vice president, responsible for day-to-day operations of the company’s lifestyle Web sites. She comes from Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where she was VP and editorial director.

Starz Entertainment has elevated Steve Waldo Belgard to senior director, entertainment publicity.
Turner
Turner Broadcasting System has named Vicki Hamilton as senior vice president, enterprise performance in its operations and strategy group. She comes from Cinema Screen Media, where she was chief operating officer.
Also, Turner elevated Loretta Young Walker to senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She was SVP, human resources for Turner’s entertainment, animation and operations and strategy divisions.

Plano, Texas-based media encoding products manufacturer ViewCast has named Gary Klembara as senior vice president of sales. He comes from GK Consultancy Group.
WOW
Production house World of Wonder has named Tom Campbell head of development. He was was VP of development at Evolution Film & Tape.
Also, Chris Skura was named head of production. He comes from Kaos Entertainment.
Fred Paccone has joined WOW as chief operating officer. He was senior VP, finance at Paramount’s Big Ticket Productions.
And Tom Wolf has signed on as chief technology officer.
WWE
Michael Diana was named affiliate sales director, Western region at World Wrestling Entertainment. He comes from Showtime Networks, where he was account director overseeing Comcast, Cablevision Systems and Mediacom Communications.
