Comcast Debuts IP Phone Service in Colorado Springs

Cable Operator Counts 3.5 Million Phone Customers

Comcast Digital Voice is now available in Colorado Springs, Colo., with the operator now offering the Internet Protocol-based service in more than 70 markets nationwide

In Colorado Springs, Comcast is offering unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling for an introductory rate of $39.95 per month. Nationally, Digital Voice service is available to 38 million homes and Comcast counts 3.5 million phone customers.
