The satellite TV partnered with Barclays U.S. to create the no-fee affinity credit card. DirecTV said is has created merchandise and rewards for consumers to earn by racking up points per dollars spent via the credit card.
Premiums start at as low as 2,000 points, a level that includes DirecTV programming and hardware, and go up to 40,000 points to earn an all-inclusive trip for two to the Sundance Film Festival.
