Time Warner Cable is launching an updated version of an interactive fantasy-football tracker in five new markets, bringing the application to a total nine divisions for the 2007-08 football season.
The application, “My Football Tracker,” will launch for the first time in Buffalo, N.Y.; Portland, Me.; and Waco, Corpus Christi and El Paso, Texas. Those markets are in addition to Columbia, S.C.; Green Bay, Wisc.; and Austin and San Antonio, Texas, which also offered the service a year ago.
The application was developed with BIAP, an interactive-TV media company based in Plano, Texas. My Football Tracker can display a subscriber’s fantasy team results on-screen, regardless of which channel is being viewed, and can send out alerts if a player scores a touchdown or hits other milestones.
