FBN Elevates Glick To VP Of Business News
Executive Will Also Appear On Air For Fledgling Service

Fox News has named Alexis Glick vice president of business news for Fox Business Network, which is slated to bow in some 31 million homes on Oct. 15.
Glick, who was tapped last February as one of the executives that would work with FBN, reports to senior vice president and managing editor Neil Cavuto with whom she will works on all aspects of the network’s business programming. She will also appear on the network’s air.
Prior to joining Fox News Channel as a director of business news last September, Glick was a correspondent for NBC News’s Today Show, where she appeared regularly on the third hour of the program. Before that, she was a senior trading correspondent for CNBC and reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for CNBC’s morning show Squawk Box.
In making the announcement, Fox News executive vice president Kevin Magee said in a statement: “Alexis has made a tremendous contribution in determining the strategy and content of FBN and its core properties, and we look forward to her serving as one of our main editorial voices on the network.”
“I’m proud to play a role in developing business news coverage for FBN, which provides me with the opportunity to utilize my strengths in news anchoring as well as my Wall Street expertise,” Glick said in a statement.
