Dish Network Debuts Four More HD RSNs
Altitude, FSN Ohio Among New Services Added To DBS Provider’s Roster

EchoStar Communications’ Dish Network has launched four more regional sports networks in the high-definition format, officials said Wednesday.
The four regional sports networks now featuring game-only HD content on Dish Network are: Altitude Sports and Entertainment, the home of the NBA’s Denver Nuggets and the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche; Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic, providing coverage of professional teams from Washington; Comcast Sports Net West, featuring the NBA Sacramento Kings; and Fox Sports Ohio, delivering coverage of the pro basketball Cleveland Cavaliers and hockey’s Columbus Blue Jackets.
With the addition of the four HD regional sports networks, Dish Network now offers 74 HD channels, including 40 national HD services.
The Dish additions come as DBS rival DirecTV and Comcast, the nation's leading cable operator, continue to ramp up their HD offerings.
